Do anything, but let it produce joy

Bobby Henline

Bobby Henline has a dream. He’s already overcome a lot of significant obstacles in his life. As a US Army veteran of multiple wars, Bobby was seriously injured by an IED in Iraq back in 2007. Although the road to recovery has been a long one, and undoubtedly a tough one, he’s met those challenges with perseverance and a great outlook on life.  After his injuries in Iraq, it’s taken at least 45 surgeries and a lot of time to heal.

So what did he do after 45 surgeries?  Became a comedian, of course!  Bobby performs regularly where he lives, in San Antonio, TX, and has also performed around the country. He’s also a motivational speaker, and has been featured on the “TODAY Show” as well as Time Magazine. He is the definition of leading by example and is an inspiration to many, including his fellow wounded veterans. You see, you can do anything you put your mind to, regardless of the tragedy and hardships you may endure in life. Bobby is proof-positive.

So back to that dream.  What’s Bobby’s? His is that quintessentially-American dream of entrepreneurship and creating something from nothing.  So what does he want to create? BURGERS, that’s what! I mean, who doesn’t love a good burger?! Bobby is working with another veteran, and franchise owner of Biggie’s Burgers and Great Shakes, to open a Biggie’s in the San Antonio area. His dream is coming closer to a reality, thanks to the help of a veteran entrepreneur-fostering organization, Sunrise Warriors. Taking it a step further, it’s also Bobby’s dream to employ other veterans, as well as to help other veterans to start their own businesses. Paying it forward, as they say. We certainly wish Bobby the best of luck, and hope you will do the same. We’re sure he will be slingin’ burgers soon enough!

Bobby is still a ways away from his goal of achieving business ownership, so a GoFundMe account was created. If you have a few bucks to spare:
