The professional AV industry worldwide is experiencing rapid growth. Generating $178 billion in 2016, it is expected that global AV revenues will increase 4.7 percent annually through 2022. The healthcare market alone will reach double-digit growth around the world through 2022. Other consumers of AV products and services include the hospitality market, corporations, educational institutions, and governmental agencies. Located in Fairfax, Virginia, AVIXA, is the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association, producer of InfoComm trade shows around the world, co-owner of Integrated Systems Europe, and the international trade association representing the audiovisual industry. Established in 1939, the association consists of more than 5,400 members in more than 80 countries, ranging from manufacturers and programmers to content producers and multimedia professionals. AVIXA has retained Vetted Solutions to recruit a new Vice President of Sales and Marketing who will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This individual is responsible for overseeing the strategy for the sales and marketing activities for AVIXA and ensuring growth in product and service areas as dictated by the strategic plan. AVIXA is looking for a leader to direct and motivate sales teams to meet their aggressive growth and revenue targets. Additionally, this individual will direct the marketing team in their initiatives using the latest marketing techniques that support their objectives of being a trusted hub and a catalyst for market growth. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of proven sales and marketing executive experience, confirmed ability to grow revenue and market share, strong leadership skills, international sales/marketing experience, and demonstrated experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
