Must be able to perform medium to heavy physical labor.
Must have the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with other personnel.
The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, climbing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
This position will be working primarily outdoors and in an open shop in all types of weather.
Should have the ability to operate hand and power tools required to perform general labor activities.
Typical lifting requirements will not exceed fifty (50) pounds.
Noise level in the work environment is often quite high, which may often require hearing protection.
This position is exposed to heavy amounts of potentially hazardous dust and fumes requiring the use of safety glasses and protective clothing is required.
Usually eight (8) hour workdays (5) days per week are required.
Occasional Saturday and Sunday work, or overtime, may be required to accommodate special business circumstances.
Should be able to properly lift moderate and heavy steel parts, equipment, and supplies on a routine basis.
Employee is frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, crouch, bend, walk and routinely lift and/or move up to (50) pounds.
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); a minimum 2 years experience with Metal fabrication or assembly shop experience is preferred; or combination of education and experience.
