Recognize and diagnose mechanical failures and determine corrective action needed, check blueprints, manuals and parts catalog
Minimum 1-2 yrs industrial maint. experience
Welding and fabrication skills preferred
Perform pipe repairs
HS diploma/GED required
Technical school preferred
Experience using power tools, saws, drills, impacts, grinder, etc.
Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches and schematics
Should be able to work on high heat and cold environments, heights, confined spaces
Check fluid levels on gearboxes, lubricate bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following stablished checklist
Inspect gearboxes, motors, belts and other operating devices
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
