MUST have own tools
MUST be okay with working in a cold and wet environment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting/diagnosis abilities
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must have knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, AC/DC, high and low voltages
2+ years' experience in facility maintenance/preventative equipment maintenance
Experience with food processing equipment is a plus
Experience working with PLC's, VFD's, gear boxes, electric motors, conveyors
Experience working in a production environment and preventative maintenance
The production room that the technician will be working in is kept at 34 degrees year round
Occasionally, the employee may be required up to lift 70 pounds

Must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
Must be able to apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing.
Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment
Follow specific directions
A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
Computer experience/operation and PLC programming.
Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
