Must be able to communicate at all levels from shop floor operator to engineer.
Strong proficiency in Tool maintenance, Pneumatic systems, including maintenance, repair, and optimization.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or associate's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
Person should have background in mathematics, mechanical drawing, metallurgy and machine shop practices.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in an injection molding environment.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to stone and hone a sharp radius on tool steel.
