Reads manufacturing orders for important customer information and details.
Evaluates the quality of the starter piece.
Assembles wires into starter piece.
Monitors the following quality areas throughout the assembly process: Twist, Bow, Curve, Ends, Belt Width, Tightness, Parallel, Skips, and Bend
Test.
Performs the bend test at the beginning of each belt and every three hours.
Rerolls the belt upon completion.
Helps monitor quality of belt during reroll upon completion.
Uses pneumatic staple gun to make the proper size cardboard box.
Writes correct information on the box.
Bands the box and places in the designated area.
Bows belts (either positive or negative) as required.
Repairs edges using wire cutters and pliers.
Uses saw to cut cardboard poles.
Edge bending using bending dies.
Make splice clips.
Work at different workstations as production needs require.

Experience with machine set-up is highly preferred
Basic machine shop knowledge and ability is preferred but not required.
Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure products for conformance.
Working knowledge of hand tools
Experience with SAP is preferred but not required
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Must be able to lift/push/pull and carry a minimum weight of 30 lbs.
