Read and interpret blue prints and exploded views as required
Ability to work independently on a single punch press or laser, as assigned, and cross train in other work areas and have the ability to rotate in and out of consistently for better flexibility
Deliver completed products with work order to stock racks
Position, align, and secure work against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies
Must have the ability to learn how to access QMS system and manufacturing resource planning system as required
Maintaining a clean and safe work area, including aisles, tooling, and machines is a must
Operators must possess the ability to count and verify part numbers on the work orders
This is a safety sensitive position therefore a drug test is a requirement of employment
The candidate for this position will perform daily operations for the punch/laser/brake machines in the manufacturing of commercial cooking equipment
Cut and debur sheet metal according to prints
Load sheet metal onto machines
They will ensure a quality product by remaining within tolerance consistently
