Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be available and willing to work such overtime per day or per week as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet business needs
Must be regularly available and willing to work at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, or such other hours per day or hours per week as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs
Knowledge and understanding of reading and interpreting detailed blueprints and structural designs, including calculating necessary information for bid and quote processes
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must have current auto liability insurance
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception
Ability to utilize strong multi-tasking, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills necessary for managing multiple projects at one time in a professional manner and under minimal supervision
Strong understanding of residential building methods (foundations, framing, roofing, finishes) and how they are built and/or installed.
Must be able to use company or personal vehicle to visit customers, job sites and purchasing offices of company accounts
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by management
This position may require occasional travel with overnight stays
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and outside weather conditions
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Must meet driver's license and driver eligibility requirements of the Company
