Basic computer and communication skills
Ability to operate manual machining equipment and precision hand tools
Inspect tooling and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
Record daily work activity in SAP
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and other safety procedures
Knowledge of die repair, rebuilding, and die setup
Minimum of 5 years of tool room experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and models to determine materials and machining methods
Assemble tooling components and install hydraulic lines and related components
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills
Journeyman Tool & Die certification required
Ability to obtain crane and hi-lo certification and work flexible hours as needed
Measure, mark, and machine metal stock while maintaining tight tolerances
