Constant lifting of cases of products weighing between 4.5 to 100 lbs.
The General Warehouse employee can handle 160-200 cases per hour.
The employee can use a pick tool for assistance with cases on pallets and racks.
The space for standing in the pallet jack has a height of 38 inches and a width of 24 inches.
The cases are carried 5 feet to pallets on the double jack which ranges in height from 9 inches to 77 inches.
Constant pushing and pulling of cases utilizing upper body forces with a force of 50 lbs. along the surface of the pallets to either retrieve or position products located on the pallets.
Occasionally entering a space with limited headroom at a height of 46 to 49 inches from the floor to retrieve cases.
The cases are located on pallets on the floor and on racks and are lifted from various heights ranging from 4 inches to 97 inches from the floor.
Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g. freezer, coolers, dry conditions).
The position requires occasionally ascending and descending a step with a height of 19 inches to enter and operate the pallet jack.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
