Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, procedures, and work instructions.
Possess skills necessary to maintain accurate documentation.
High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
Must become certified to all requirements of BWXT contracts pertaining to welding and/or brazing, imposed on BWXT both now and in the future.
Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable written and operation examinations.
May require the ability to obtain and maintain applicable federal eligibility requirements for access to classified/sensitive information or matter which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation, drug test, previous employment, and reference verifications.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in manual and automatic gas tungsten arc and/or shield arc welding, completion of an accredited training program will be considered.
If necessary, be able to demonstrate ability to perform above skills on a test piece.
Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable certifications.
Selected applicants are required to successfully complete a pre-employment check and drug screening.
All candidates must be U.S. citizens.
Possess necessary personal tools.
Must be willing and available to work any shift (2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm, 3rd shift: 11pm - 7am).
