Proficient in legal research tools and document preparation.
This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.
Must maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.
Minimum of three (3) years of legal support experience.
Associate degree
Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain).
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a Paralegal Certificate.

Working knowledge of a Case Management system

3+ years of recent civil litigation experience, preferably insurance defense or personal injury
Experience reviewing medical records and preparing medical chronologies
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize workload, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively
Strong written communication skills, attention to detail
Prior paralegal experience, litigation
Prior litigation or paralegal experience, paralegal degree/certificate/certification, medical training, or relevant coursework or legal studies degree
Strong software/technical skills
