Description

The position is for a Head Artisan bread Baker. Who has extensive knowledge in German Ryes, European breads, Venosserie ( danish , croissants etc) knows lamination extensively and can provide guidance to other employees. Person must know fermentation and all typical procedures of artisan bread baking.-----5+ years of hands-on experience baking traditional German breads using time-honored techniques, including sourdough fermentation and hearth baking.Specialized in rye and whole grain formulas, with consistent execution of classic loaves such as Vollkornbrot, Pumpernickel, and Mischbrot.Manage day-to-day bakers operation of a German-style bakery, inventory, quality control, and staff training5+ years of hands-on experience baking traditional German breads using time-honored techniques, including sourdough fermentation and hearth baking.Specialized in rye and whole grain formulas, with consistent execution of classic loaves such asVollkornbrot,Pumpernickel, andMischbrot.Managed day-to-day operations of a German-style bakery, including scheduling, inventory, quality control, and staff training.Implemented efficient production workflows while maintaining artisan quality and authenticity.As an Artisan, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for crafting exceptional baked goods that reflect our commitment to quality and tradition. This role is vital in helping us deliver a variety of artisan breads and pastries to our valued customers.ResponsibilitiesLed a team of bakers in daily production of handcrafted, small-batch artisan breads, viennoiserie, and pastries using traditional fermentation techniques.Developed and maintained consistent, high-quality sourdough starters and naturally leavened doughs.Oversaw recipe development, ingredient sourcing, and seasonal menu rotation in alignment with artisan baking standards.Trained junior staff in artisanal techniques including lamination, hand-shaping, scoring, and wood-fired baking.Ensured quality control, sanitation, and inventory management in a fast-paced, high-volume artisan bakery.Implemented efficient production workflows while maintaining artisan quality and authenticity.As an Artisan, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for crafting exceptional baked goods that reflect our commitment to quality and tradition.
