Electrical Engineer
Howmet Aerospace is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Casting Facility located in Dover, New Jersey. This shift will be primarily 1st shift but may need to work off shift hours.

Anticipated Pay Range: $98K-120K per year. *Pay rates within this range are determined based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc.
Responsibilities
This position plans, formulates, designs and administers various engineered projects and programs related to traditional manufacturing facilities infrastructure and production equipment.
- Develop and execute capital and non capital projects on electrical equipment (electric panels, substations, transformers), CNC machines, robotic equipment, heat treat equipment and casting equipment
- Work with suppliers and contractors on procurement of production equipment and infrastructure support.
- Work with contracting companies on pricing of new projects and day to day management of existing projects
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting including electrical, controls, PLCs and VFDs
- Assist the Facilities Manager, Manufacturing Manager, area leaders, and Planning organizations by supporting the planning and coordinating of shutdowns, preventative and predictive maintenance, breakdown support and spare parts management, problem solving, root cause analysis, TPM, Kaizen and EHS activities.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expected to assist in the implementation of Howmet's EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles.
- Comply with all department, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 3 years related experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of electrical control systems (prints, VFDs, motors, drives, servos, sensors)
- Knowledge of 460VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC, 5VDC systems
- Knowledge of ladder logic software (ProWORX 32, RSLogix, SoMachine)
- Knowledge of robots (Yaskawa Motoman)
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar software for designing
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software for design
- Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, and Siemens PLCs and drives
- Knowledge of a variety of Fluke meters
- Strong interpersonal skills for supervisory of outside contractors and technicians
