This involves providing administrative guidance, communication of strategic and mission-based focus, and supervision of campus staff, so that the team can expand the ministrys impact on the spiritual growth of international students. This position is part of the Central Ohio ministry team and requires the candidate to live in Columbus, OH./ppThe Assistant Campus Ministry Director will (list not all inclusive):/pulliSupport Campus Ministry Director by: ulliProviding paid staff with performance assessments, including fundraising expectations, and periodic employee benefit review/liliEnsuring that discipleship is the center of campus ministry focus by overseeing the tracking of the student discipleship progress/liliMaintaining good relationship with the university, ministry partners, and student organizations/liliReview and coordinate ministry activities, plans, and goals in engaging students/li/ul/liliDevelop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role by sharing the vision of the ministry/liliTake part in direct ministry, such as discipling international students, participating/leading a Bible discussion group for international students, and participating in cultural activities/li/ulpQualifications needed of an Assistant Campus Ministry Director, including Spiritual Characteristics:/pulliAdherence to IFIs statement of faith, core values, and policies/liliIs faithful, loyal and dedicated to IFIs mission from the Lord to extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international students out of reverence for Jesus/liliGodly character that follows the examples defined in I Timothy 3 and Titus 1/liliWell organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently/liliBe a self-starter, able to work independently, as well as a team player/liliAbility to work under stress and be flexible/liliProficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications/liliAbility to hold themselves and others accountable/li/ulpEducation/Experience Preferred for an Assistant Campus Ministry Director:/pulliMinimum of a Bachelor degree, preferably in a ministry related field/liliMinimum of five years of evangelical and cross cultural ministry experience/liliMinimum of three years of work experience managing a team of 5 or more people/liliCertificate-level completion of Perspectives on the World Christian movement is preferred and, if not existent, should be completed within three years of employment with IFI./li/ulpInternational Friendships, Inc.
