Job Summary
A Substitute Teacher is responsible for teaching and supervising students in the absence of the regular teacher. They must follow lesson plans, manage classroom behavior, and ensure the safety and well-being of students. The substitute teacher helps maintain continuity in the educational process and may work across various grade levels and subject areas.

Education: High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred. Licensing/Certification: A teaching certification or substitute teacher permit may be required. Experience: Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred but not always required. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different educational settings. Basic understanding of classroom technology and instructional tools.
