Tanium Platform SME Job Description

Responsible for configuring & implementing Tanium platform solution for the project and/or organization requirements. Should have good knowledge in Windows OS (both Servers & Workstations), Linux, and MacOS. Good knowledge in Tanium Topology & console including Tan OS. Extensive knowledge on Tanium Modules including modules configuring & upgrade as per client requirements. Good command & knowledge on below modules include troubleshoot:

• Interact Module
• Asset Module
• Deploy Module
• Comply Module
• Patch Module
• Client Module
• Trends Module
• Impact Module

Troubleshoot and fix the Tanium Client issues and able to analyze the logs and suggest/provide improvements. Must have Tanium Certified Administrator certification. Good to have Tanium Certified Specialist Cloud Deployment certification. Usage of interact module asking questions with syntax and sensors, drilldown and working with results, creating saved questions. Extensive knowledge in configuring the dashboards as per the client requirements. Deploy the packages/software's to the endpoints across the environment. Good knowledge in EXE, BAT, CMD, MSI, and MST. Managing the RBAC for all the modules as per the organization requirements. Manage and troubleshoot the endpoints including scanning, isolate the compromised endpoints. Need to do the audit on endpoints as per the organization requirements. Good knowledge in preparation of patch list, block the patch list, deploying the single & ongoing deployments by setting the maintenance windows as per client requirements. Good knowledge in identifying unmanaged clients. Deploying Tanium Client to unmanaged clients, monitoring lost interfaces. Need to create and deploying a compliance report scan, vulnerability report scan and run a customized compliance report based on client requirement. Should have extensive knowledge in creating anti-malware reports, deploy AppLocker whitelist policies (encryption), Windows firewall rules.
