Description

System Integration Architect/Developer

Contract/fulltime Tampa, FL (100% Remote) Web Cam Interview Look for candidates with heavy on Airline or Aviation background with experience any MRO tools. MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul). Our Client uses Trax as their MRO tool., but we can consider candidates with experience in any MRO tools. Tech Stack: (Java or Python or C#), API development, integration tools for Developers and for Architect add Integration middleware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design comprehensive integration solutions that align with enterprise architecture principles and support business goals.
  • Develop technical blueprints for the integration of heterogeneous systems including legacy platforms, cloud environments, and third-party solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend integration technologies and tools based on technical requirements and business needs. This includes ESBs, API gateways, and custom middleware solutions.
  • Design API interfaces and service contracts that ensure compatibility and scalability across internal and external systems.
  • Implement robust error handling and reconciliation mechanisms to maintain data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Lead proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed solutions and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure that integration solutions comply with data security and privacy standards.
  • Guide the transition from monolithic systems to microservices architectures where appropriate, including the use of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Optimize system performance through comprehensive monitoring, tuning, and scaling strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership in the adoption of new digital technologies like IoT, big data analytics platforms, and AI-driven automation tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Overall 12+ years of industry experience and 8+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a strong focus on system integration and enterprise solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of architectural design patterns, best practices in integration, and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficient in a range of programming languages (such as Java, Python,.NET) and database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL).
  • Solid experience with integration middleware like RedHat OpenShift, Apache Camel, any ESB software like MuleSoft, Oracle OSB, IBM Integration Bus or similar.
  • Solid understanding of API development, management platforms, and web service protocols (REST, SOAP) and integration using sFTP, gRPC, Socket, SSL etc.
  • Familiarity with API management platforms like Apigee or AWS API Gateway.
  • Strong practical knowledge of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and implementations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address scalability, reliability, and performance issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on team collaboration and stakeholder management.
