Description
An established pediatric program is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified pediatric PM&R physician to lead the pediatric PM&R program. The physician will play a key role in developing protocols, collaborating across specialties, and shaping the future of pediatric rehabilitation care in South Texas.
The Opportunity: • Provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with neurological, spasticity, musculoskeletal, and developmental conditions • Collaborate with neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedics, and pediatric subspecialties for coordinated care • Support patients recovering from neurosurgical interventions • Develop clinical protocols and best practices • Lead program development, quality initiatives, and service line growth • Work with an interdisciplinary team (PT, OT, SLP) across care settings • Supervise APPs and allied health professionals • Participate in teaching and optional research opportunities
