Application Developer

Crane Pumps & Systems is seeking a versatile Application Developer responsible for the architecture, development, and ongoing support of the Oracle CPQ platform and enterprise.NET web applications. This role blends expertise in CPQ (BigMachines), BML/BMQL, and commerce flows with strong skills in C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, ASP.NET Core / modern.NET (68), SQL Server, and SSIS. The developer will collaborate across departments to deliver scalable solutions supporting quoting, configuration, pricing, order management, and other key business operations.

Responsibilities And Duties:

• Architect, enhance, and support Oracle CPQ including commerce flows, pricing logic, approvals, and document generation.
• Maintain CPQ components such as configurators, data tables, file manager items, and security roles.
• Modernize and improve legacy JavaScript customizations.
• Develop and support.NET and ASP.NET Core web applications using OOP principles, design patterns, and unit testing.
• Provide break-fix support and deliver maintainable enhancements to existing systems.
• Configure and manage IIS and application hosting on Windows Server.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, schemas, and queries.
• Build and maintain SSIS packages and ETL workflows across multiple business platforms.
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Order Management, and Pricing teams to define and deliver solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on Oracle CPQ experience or strong working knowledge of online configurators.
• Strong BML/BMQL and CPQ administration skills (commerce rules, models, data tables, logs, security).
• 5+ years of web development using C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and ASP.NET Core with modern .NET (68).
• Strong SQL Server expertise including T?SQL scripting and performance tuning.
• Experience with SSIS development.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Self-driven, collaborative, and eager to learn new technologies.

Preferred

• RPA development experience (UiPath preferred).
• Guided selling or advanced UI/UX customization experience in CPQ.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint.
