Summary We are seeking a Clinical Admissions Nurse Manager to join our team at BrightStar Care. In this pivotal role, you will oversee nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while supporting our mission of making a real difference in the lives of our clients. Must have graduated from a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited program. * CurrentRegistered Nurse License for the state of South Carolina(in good standing) with no need to relocate. * Certified CPR and negative 2-step TB skin test or chest x-ray. * 2-3 recent years home healthcare experience. * 2 recent years of direct employee supervision or Charge Nurse. * 2-3 years recent experience with PICC/Midlines/Ports & Labsw/ strong Peripheral In-Home IV skills with starts/maintenance; IV Infusion Therapy Injection; self-infusion training. * Case management skills * “Power User” ofExcel, WORD & PowerPoint. Your Day-to-Day Duties… * Make clinicaljudgments in high pressure situations * Utilize critical thinking in aneffective and efficient mannerwith supervision. * Perform according tonursing standards. * Remain accountablein managing patient care / assisting others in the management of patient care. * Participates in our office and clinical "on-call" systems and rotation. * Work in anoffice environment & out in the fieldproviding initial client admissions, initial and ongoing client assessments and associated care plans. * Develop processes & education while participating with the team throughJoint Commission accreditation. * Ensureregulatorycompliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA, Medicare, and National Account guidelines. * Serve as a member of theExecutive Leadership Team& participate in the Quality Assurance & Process Improvement (QAPI) committee. * Participate instrategic agency planning. * Assists in the development oforganization goals, partnering with other team members to ensure agency meets planned goals. * Maintain and createreferral relationshipswith National Account partners to drive skilled nursing growth. * Participate inlocal outreach/networking activitieswith our Relationship Manager supporting overall agency growth. * Help develop, recommend, implement & administer agencypolicies and procedures * Assist in policy review & revisionsas requested to establish / support the highest possible quality of patient care. * Work w/community emergency responseorganizations & local public health departments, as needed * Able tobuild a teamto support growth, establishing processes & handoff to new team members as business scales. What's the Environment? * JCAHO accredited agency (50+ employees). * Contact w/ clients under a wide variety of circumstances. * Care provided in clients' living environment w/ varying situations OR in an institution such as a hospital. * May be required to respond to emergency situations. * Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids/tissues. * Limited travel as needed for various staff and client care service needs.
