Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Recreational Therapist to work at a facility in Lancaster, California . These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $60 / hour *W2
Job Details:
- Area: Mental Health OT-10H Class: RECT Shift: 1 Start: 07:00:00 End: 17:00:00
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Recreational Therapist
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs
- Consider medical records
- Personal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved ones
- Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires most
- Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patients
- Document a patient's progress during their activities
- Other duties assigned my supervisor
