Key Responsibilities
- Produce quality and timely CT procedures according to physician's orders.
- Provide patient assessment and care for a wide range of patients, including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Demonstrate competence in post-processing techniques.
- Utilize a strong knowledge of anatomy to assist in providing information to the physicians.
- Maintain a high level of patient care and safety throughout all procedures.
- Education:
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of Technologist experience is required.
- Certifications:
- A California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license is required upon hire.
- A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
- A National Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required upon hire.
- A National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography (R.T.(CT)) from the ARRT OR National Computed Tomography Technologist Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board is required within 1 year of hire.
