Position Overview As a Senior CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic CT procedures with a high degree of independence. Your role is crucial in producing optimal images and providing valuable information to physicians. You will be skilled in post-processing and will demonstrate a strong knowledge of anatomy. In this senior role, you will apply your expertise to assess and care for patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination process. Key Responsibilities
Produce quality and timely CT procedures according to physician's orders.
Provide patient assessment and care for a wide range of patients, including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Demonstrate competence in post-processing techniques.
Utilize a strong knowledge of anatomy to assist in providing information to the physicians.
Maintain a high level of patient care and safety throughout all procedures.
Qualifications
Education:
Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years of Technologist experience is required.
Certifications:
A California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license is required upon hire.
A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
A National Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required upon hire.
A National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography (R.T.(CT)) from the ARRT OR National Computed Tomography Technologist Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board is required within 1 year of hire.
