This is a rewarding opportunity to help residents regain communication and swallowing abilities while working a consistent weekly schedule.
Pay Details:
- $27.33 - $28.67 per hour DOE
- Onsite | Rehab Department - Long-Term Care / Post-Acute Facility
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Shift: Variable Shifts
- Hours: 40 Hours per Week (5 x 8-Hour Shifts)
- Type: Full-Time Contract
- Start Date: ASAP
- Speech-Language Pathologist License - Oregon (Required)
- BLS Certification - (Required)
- Valid SLP licensure in the state of Oregon
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in clinical documentation and care planning
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or post-acute care preferred
- Identify patient needs and determine appropriate speech therapy interventions
- Deliver therapy services in compliance with physician orders and state/federal guidelines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure patient-centered care
- Promote the highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient
- Document all services provided in accordance with regulatory standards
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding therapy goals
