Description
Behavioral Health Clinical Associate Practitioner
Under direct supervision of a licensed behavioral health clinician or psychologist, provides access to and delivers behavioral health services, within a defined scope of practice to Bering Straits residents, including, but not limited to, individual/group counseling, case management for substance abuse and mental health concerns, substance use assessments and treatment planning, community development, prevention, wellness education, and supervision. The Clinical Associate Practitioner will demonstrate and be assisted in the essential functions of the position.

Under the supervision and by the direction of the clinical supervisor and administrative supervisor the Clinical Associate Practitioner shall demonstrate and apply the following functions:

Minimum requirements:
CA Trainee (Grade 4): High School Diploma, BLS within 3 months of hire, 1 Year full time employment
CA I (Grade 5): All the requirements of a Trainee, 6 months as a Clinical Associate Trainee, BHA I certification
CA II (Grade 6): All the requirements of a CA I, 6 months as a CA I, BHA II certification
CA III (Grade 7): All the requirements of a CA II, 6 Months as a CA II, BHA III certification
CA Practitioner (Grade 8): All the requirements of a CA III, 1 year as a CA III, BHP certification
