Part-Time Licensed Therapists Needed

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for part-time licensed therapists in Northern New Jersey to provide in-home and center-based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for passionate professionals to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse population of children and adolescents with exceptional needs.

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides comprehensive therapeutic support services designed to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Our approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and our team of highly trained professionals is dedicated to providing individualized care for every client.

We are looking for the best talent to provide therapeutic services via center-based and in-home as needed to youth throughout the state of New Jersey. Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individual in-home therapy, group therapy sessions, telehealth therapy, and outpatient center sessions.
  • Performing bio-psycho-social assessments is a plus.
  • Provide coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
  • Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
  • Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.)
  • Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
  • Must be able to complete or willing to train for bio-psycho-social assessments.

Requirements:

  • Must have a master's degree in counseling, social work, family therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT.
  • Has clinical mental health trauma counseling training.
  • Has some training or willing to complete crisis intervention training.
  • Has post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience.
  • Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
  • Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and trauma response.
  • Knows how to use the DSM-V for assessments and diagnosis.
  • Must be available for a minimum 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours of 12noon through 8pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
  • Must maintain a minimum caseload of 23 clients for part-time staff.
  • Must have experience providing positive behavior supports.
  • Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20, and working with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license.
  • Must pass all state and federal background checks.
  • A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.
  • Must submit resume plus copies of master's degree, with a copy of NJ or certification or license.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment visas at this time.
  • State reciprocity considered, but candidate must be within 2530 minutes of service areas.

Compensation:

  • $60 - $75 per hour
