Sr. Software Engineer

Need an expert Sr. Software Engineer in Java, Spring Boot and Kafka with demonstrable expertise over multiple complex projects.

Top Must Haves:

• Java
• Kafka
• Oracle
• 10+ years

Skills:

• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• 7+ years of experience with core Java 8 or higher, with Spring Boot
• 3+ years experience with Kafka or other event streaming systems (RabbitMQ, Kinesis, Service Bus)
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with distributed cache and compute grid products, such as Hazelcast
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets like GIT/BitBucket, JIRA, Maven
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable applications using Kubernetes
• Knowledge and understanding of capital markets: back office technology and systems

Nice to Have:

• Experience in PERF testing and turning as well as shift left practices
• AWS experience
• Spark with Scala
• Caching technologies
• Kubernetes
• Capital Markets experience
