12Y Geospatial Engineer

Job Overview:

As a Geospatial Engineer, you'll provide invaluable visualization ofthe land and battlefield in advance of sending troops into unfamiliarterrain. From conditions and effects of terrain and weather on vehiclesand troop movements, to points of tactical interest during missions,you'll examine all aspects of the battlefield before boots ever hit theground. You'll extract and analyze geographic data from satelliteimagery, photography, and field reconnaissance, then use this data tocreate different types of maps and databases. You will also use theinformation you gather to support military and civilian operations forDisaster Relief and Homeland Security.

Requirements:

• A U.S. Citizen

• 17 to 34 Years Old

• High School Diploma or GED

• Meet Tattoo Guidelines

• No Major Law Violations

• No Medical Concerns

Testing & Certifications

• 54 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available

• 10 weeks of Basic Training

• 20 weeks of Advanced Individual Training

• 100 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST)

• 100 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT)
