Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver effective therapy interventions based on resident goals and progress.
- Work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) and other clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and safety measures.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)program.
- Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Missouri.
- Experience in long-term care or geriatrics is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying caseloads.
