About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified CT Tech in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28207!

Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team in Charlotte, NC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning protocols, administer contrast agents, start peripheral IVs, and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. This role supports emergency department, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations and includes participation in CT-guided invasive procedures and anesthesia cases as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT certification with advanced registry in CT.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to start peripheral IVs.
• Experience with venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, and stroke imaging including perfusion.
• Experience performing CT-guided invasive procedures.
• Experience working with ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patient populations.
• Experience with or willingness to use EPIC (EMR) and Epic Radiant (RIS). Knowledge of Philips iSite PACS preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience in a hospital radiology environment preferred by the client.

Preferred Qualifications

• TeraRecon experience preferred, not required.
• Previous experience with Siemens Definition AS 64 and GE VCT 64 CT scanners preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift days: Mon-Tue, Thu-Fri.
• Shift hours: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM.
• Department performs an average of 68 CT studies per day.
• Department will perform anesthesia cases as needed.
• Department performs CT-guided invasive procedures.
• Floating to other facilities: No.
• Orientation: 1 day administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review).

Impacting Patient Care

As a CT technologist on travel assignment you will provide crucial imaging services that support diagnosis and treatment across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to timely stroke and trauma imaging pathways, using enterprise EMR and imaging systems to support continuity of care.
