Job DescriptionProvides patient care and technical skills in the operation of a computed tomography (CT) scanner to produce cross-sectional radio-graphs of patient's body for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Performs tasks like:Preparing patient for CT procedure by accurately assessing patient's needs and providing patient education; Operating computed tomography scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction of images, documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images; and Evaluating Radiographs, video tape, and computer generated information for technical quality. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program
One (1) year CT experience or graduate of CT training program with minimum of 500 clinical hours of CT training
Current Radiologic Technologist license thru the State of Indiana
Registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Current Healthcare BLS certification
HIGHLY PREFERRED:
Three (3) or more years work experience as a CT Technologist
