POSITION TITLE: Shift Monitor (RFT)
LOCATION/DEPT: Shield of Hope
REPORTS TO: Program Director
FLSA CATEGORY: Non-Exempt
PAY GRADE: 202
PAY RANGE: $17.60

JOB SUMMARY
Shift Monitors is to provide compassionate, professional service to the families residing at the Emergency Homeless Assessment and Referral Center and the community in a team-focused manner with the entire staff. This position is to give consistent stability and safety to the program through their direct service to the clients. This service includes professional interactions, distribution of basic supplies, communicating with donors, service providers and the community, and offering support to the Program Director and Case Manager. This includes assistance with written and oral communications and while maintaining confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the Program Director of The Emergency Homeless Assessment and Response Center.
In contacts related to this position's duties, this individual act as a representative of The Salvation Army and its mission.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
This individual will be evaluated on how effectively the outcomes of this position are achieved, as well as the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of accomplishing assigned goals.
An evaluation of how effectively staff responds to the services being provided will also be done.
A 30, 60, and 90-day performance review will be conducted.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
COMPETENCIES
JOB LIMITATIONS
This individual will only commit Army resources that have been allocated or authorized.
This individual will keep the Program Director informed on all critical issues relating to his/her area of responsibility.
This individual will adhere to all Army policies and procedures in carrying out the responsibilities of this position.
A 30, 60, and 90-day performance review will be conducted.
