This team is seeking a Scheduler to support multiple concurrent construction efforts within a dynamic, fast-paced project environment. Position Overview The Scheduler will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. This individual will partner closely with project leadership, field teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance. This role requires a strong command of scheduling methodologies, data analysis, and construction workflows to support project execution and mitigate risk. Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed project and procurement schedules, including monthly reporting narratives
Build and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) aligned with project scope and sequencing
Apply scheduling methodologies such as Critical Path Method (CPM), Time Impact Analysis (TIA), and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Collaborate with subcontractors and trade partners to establish baseline schedules and recovery plans
Monitor progress against schedule milestones and identify potential delays or risks
Communicate schedule updates and impacts clearly to project teams, consultants, and clients
Generate required reports in accordance with contract requirements and internal standards
Evaluate schedule variances and forecast impacts to cost, resources, and timeline
Support claims analysis, time extensions, and schedule fragment evaluations
Perform workforce planning and cash flow forecasting tied to project schedules
Participate in internal training initiatives and contribute to team development
Provide guidance and training to project staff on scheduling tools and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 5+ years of construction scheduling experience
Proficiency with industry-standard scheduling software, OPC, Primavera P6
Strong experience in schedule development, resource loading, and performance analysis
Solid understanding of:
Earned Value Management (EVM)
Critical Path Method (CPM)
Time Impact Analysis (TIA)
Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
Experience working on federally regulated projects or contracts is preferred
General knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
