Job Summary

Assists in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practice, training, and competition, typically in a key area of sporting discipline. Designs and implements specific conditioning programs and/or training routines as appropriate to improve athletic performance. Assists in monitoring and supporting student-athletes in academic progress. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Knowledge of the sport applicant wishes to coach. Must be able to pass all required district background checks. Must have the following clearance documents completed before hired: CPR/First Aid, Concussion Training, Heat Illness Prevention, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching. Conditions of Employment: Employees in this job title are subject to the terms and conditions set by the Santa Ana Unified School District. Employment is subject to review at the conclusion of each season and renewed on an annual basis.
