Job Description JOB OVERVIEW •Job Title: Neurologist - Outpatient General Neurology •Job Type: Hospital-Employed •Location: Dothan, AL •Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic •Coverage Type: Clinical Only •Coverage Period: Ongoing •Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon - Thu, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Fri, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
PATIENT INFORMATION •Patient Demographics: Adults •Patient Volume/Census: TBD •Phone Consults: Minimal •Case Mix: General Neurology; potential subspecialty focus in Neuromuscular Disorders/Neurophysiology with EMG/NCV
FACILITY INFORMATION •No. of Beds in Department: 420-bed facility •Trauma Level: Level 2 •Office Equipment Available: In-clinic neurotesting and diagnostics with trained technicians •Specialty Backup Available: Neurohospitalists, Neurointerventionalists, Neurosurgeons •Support Staff Available: Dedicated APP support, access to Neuromuscular Rehab & Balance Center •Reason for Coverage: Expansion of Neurosciences team

REQUIRED PROCEDURES •General Neurology evaluations and management •EMG/NCV (preferred)
JOB REQUIREMENTS •Licenses: Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama •Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology •Experience: Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders/Neurophysiology preferred •Other Qualifications: Willingness to complete EMG/NCV; ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES •Provide outpatient neurological care in a hospital-based clinic setting •Evaluate and manage a wide range of general neurology conditions •Perform or interpret neurodiagnostic testing •Collaborate with specialists in neurointerventional, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation •Participate in a multidisciplinary neurosciences program with academic opportunities through ACOM
