Electronic Security Technician III
GC&E Systems Group is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technician III to support the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems. This senior-level technician works independently with minimal oversight and may lead installation teams on small to medium projects, providing advanced technical direction and on-site coordination. The Technician III serves as an on-site technical lead, offering deep expertise across CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, intercoms, electronic locking hardware, wireless locks, cloud-based security platforms, and copper/fiber cabling.
Under limited supervision, the Technician demonstrates full technical competence, leads small to medium installation teams, and serves as the primary field escalation point for complex issues. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to interpret engineered drawings, and the capability to coordinate and lead installation teams in collaboration with Project Managers, subcontractors, and customers.
