The Details
  • Salary Range: $45.30 - $68.01 per hour (rate dependent on experience, education, and union agreement).
  • FTE: 0.875 (Part-Time, Variable).
  • Shift differentials: $3.50/hr-evening; $4.50/hr-night
  • Location: St. Joseph Medical Center, supporting the ED, inpatients, and procedural areas.

What You'll Do
As a Float CT Tech, you will perform routine and specialized CT procedures, integrating clinical knowledge with high-level patient interaction. CT Techs may also be assigned to work as a Radiology Technologist.
  • Adapt & Resolve: Quickly adjust to different shift needs and patient volumes, maintaining a high standard of care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Mastery: Operate CT scanners for data acquisition, reconstructions, and interventional procedures while strictly adhering to ALARA principles.
  • Collaborate: Work alongside ED staff, radiologists, and ordering physicians to optimize examinations based on patient history and clinical needs.
  • Educate: Provide clear instructions to patients and families, and help mentor staff or students as needed.
What You Bring
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Credentials: ARRT (R), (N), or (CT) required upon hire; Washington State Radiology Technologist license and BLS required.
  • Certification: CT certification is required within one year of hire.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience is preferred. Must have demonstrated venipuncture competency and PACS/RIS knowledge (Epic/Fuji/IntelliSpace preferred).
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational agility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a positive, flexible attitude.
