Adjunct - Education / Counseling Instructor

The Education & Counseling Department will accept applications throughout the year. When a teaching vacancy arises, we will consider the submitted applications in an effort to staff a course. All applicants must apply online and complete a faculty profile. Online applications must include: 1. A current and complete resume/curriculum vitae. 2. A cover letter or letter of interest. The letter should include the following three pieces of information: a) the type of courses the applicant is interested in teaching; b) the time period during which the applicant expects to be available; c) the names and the contact information of three references. 3. A statement of teaching philosophy. If the applicant wishes to submit any other supporting documents, they may submit them online in conjunction with the application.

Advanced degree in area or a closely related discipline is required and/or experience suitable for course instruction. Previous teaching experience preferred.

This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,160.00 $2,230.00 per credit/contact hour. The final compensation will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's educational qualifications, course type (drill, lab, lecture), course level (undergraduate or graduate), and market benchmarks.
