Position: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
NY / NJ / CA / TX, Spanish speaking, evening hours preferred (weekends also an option if interested)
Part-Time with potential to transition to Full-Time after 3 months of outstanding performance
Competitive pay: $46-48 per completed client session (50 min) and $25 per admin hour
Compensation and Employment Terms
This is a part-time W-2 employee position with approximately 24 hours of availability per week. Employment is at-will, meaning either party may end the relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice.

Administrative time (meetings, care coordination): $25/hr
Schedule and Daily Expectations
Schedules remain consistent week to week. In accordance with labor law, shifts may not exceed 8 hours per day, and shifts longer than 5 hours include a required unpaid 1-hour meal break.

• Typical day: 6 client sessions in a 7 to 8 hour window (evening hours preferred, weekends also an option if interested)
• Up to 7 sessions in an 8-hour day
• Sessions are 50 minutes of direct care
• AI-assisted note-taking is built into your workflow, freeing your admin time for care coordination and communication
• We have countless note templates and handouts as well to organize the flow of your sessions

• Up to 23 client sessions scheduled (50 minutes each)
• Target: approximately 19 to 20 completed sessions per week (85% utilization)
• Up to 3 compensated administrative hours per week
• 1 required team meeting: Mondays at 1pm PST / 4pm EST

• Annual Team Trip Every year we bring the whole team together for a retreat that's equal parts connection, celebration, and fun. Last year: Palm Springs. This year: Mexico. This is a team that genuinely likes each other, and we invest in keeping it that way.
• Professional Development and Clinical Supervision This is one of the things we're most proud of. Most RDs come to us with strong nutrition knowledge but less experience in the behavior change, motivational interviewing, and food-and-feelings work that makes the difference between a good session and a transformative one. At the Associate level, you'll benefit from this support as you grow your clinical skills.
• Weekly group supervision during Monday team meetings (1pm PST / 4pm EST)
• Monthly 1:1 supervision focused on counseling skill development
• 20 CEUs annually through Diabetes Digital in-services
• Ongoing continuing education woven into how we work
• A clear pathway into advanced clinical lead roles for those who want it
• Licensure Support Up to $1,000 annually toward state licensure fees
• Tech Stipend $400 annually after 6 months of employment
• Time Off
• Paid sick time: 1 hour accrued per 30 hours worked (paid at clinical rate)
• 4 weeks unpaid vacation annually
• 8 paid holidays (paid at $25/hr for scheduled hours): New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
• Retirement Access to a 401(k) and/or Roth IRA through Guideline. No employer match at this time, though we are working toward offering this in 2027.

• Provide 1:1 virtual nutrition counseling to clients with diabetes, prediabetes, PCOS, and metabolic conditions
• Support behavior change through motivational interviewing techniques
• Conduct telehealth visits (phone/video/chat) for a diverse clientele (70% of our clients identify as BIPOC)
• Complete assessments, follow-up notes, and documentation on time
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline patient care
• Attend weekly supervision meetings and team huddles
• Billing and scheduling tasks, ensuring accuracy in client records

• 1-3 years of experience in outpatient counseling (diabetes MNT preferred)
• Familiarity or willingness to learn Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating approaches
• Strong commitment to social justice and supporting marginalized clients
• Adaptable, organized, and ready to learn new systems and methods
• Active RD Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• CDCES credential (a plus!)
