A manufacturing company is seeking a Weld Foreman to oversee daily welding operations, lead a team of weld technicians, and ensure production goals and quality standards are met. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Job Duties:
- Supervise and support weld technicians; assign daily tasks and monitor workflow
- Oversee robotic, projection, and resistance welding operations
- Ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of welding equipment
- Track and manage raw materials and parts inventory for production jobs
- Step in to perform robotic, projection, and resistance welding as needed
- Maintain quality standards, safety compliance, and production efficiency
- Coordinate with production and management to meet deadlines and resolve issues
Qualification:
- Must have 3 to 5 years of welding experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
- Experience with robotic weld programming and welding processes
- Must have a hands-on leadership style with the ability to jump in when needed
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude while being able to pay a high attention to detail
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprint and welding symbols
- Must have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work safely and abide by all company standards, policies, and procedures
