Job Description
The position is for an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse in a high-acuity environment, specifically within an Angiography and Interventional Radiology unit. The RN will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide direct patient care during a variety of procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical care medications and monitor patient conditions during procedures.
- Assist with procedures such as Permcath placements, Port placements, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE interventions, and trauma care.
- Work as part of a team consisting of lead techs, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC Cupid documentation system.
- Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams to enhance overall patient care.
- Current Registered Nurse license and certifications in ACLS and BLS.
- Prior experience in Critical Care and Interventional Radiology, particularly with stroke and trauma care.
- Experience managing critical care gtt management.
