Powerbuilder Developer And It Analyst

Looking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background specialized in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and possess advanced skills in T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. Day to day activities include data management, source control (TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT), unit testing, documentation, testing, production support, change management, software development and data integrity.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Some college preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
2. PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)
3. Work in a hybrid office
4. Willingness to learn

Required Skills:

• Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data.
• Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database.
• Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data.
• Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis.
• Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT.
• Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes.
• Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams.
• Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios.
• Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis.
• Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes.
