The ideal candidates will be responsible for implementing security measures, preventing theft, and ensuring a safe environment for employees and customers.Schedule Overview:2nd ShiftResponsibilitiesMaintain a strong on-site security presence during assigned shiftsConduct hourly perimeter patrols and log activity using the Watchman's Clock at all designated checkpointsControl access to the facility during non-business hours and ensure only authorized personnel, contractors, and vendors enterIdentify and address suspicious persons, vehicles, or packages following site protocolsComplete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports (IRs) during each shiftEnforce site rules related to trespassing, terminated employee access, visitor protocols, and no-solicitation policiesMaintain a clean, organized, and professional work area at the Guard HouseSecure facility post at shift end and ensure proper turnover of duties and equipment to incoming officersCommunicate effectively with the Site Safety Manager and escalate issues or incidents as neededRequirements and SkillsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience in security, asset protection, law enforcement, or military preferredAbility to work independently, follow procedures, and respond to incidents calmly and professionallyExcellent communication and report-writing skillsPhysically capable of performing foot patrols and working outdoors in various weather conditionsMust pass background screening and meet all security employment standardsOfficers must maintain clean, pressed uniforms and professional hygieneNo weapons are allowed on-site (per company policy and applicable laws)All incidents, unusual activities, or policy violations must be reported immediately and thoroughly documentedOfficers must be familiar with site emergency procedures, suspicious package protocols, and security escalation practicesSmoking is not permitted near the post and must be done only in designated areasExperienceRelevant experience in asset protection or security roles preferredBenefitsComprehensive health, and dental, and vision insurance plansRetirement savings plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and developmentSupportive and inclusive work environment
