Position Overview:
EPSI Worx is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse ProductionAssociate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experiencein a cold and wet environment, as well as packing experience and the ability tolift heavy objects. The Warehouse ProductionAssociate will be responsible forvarious tasks within the warehouse, including staging, cleanliness, andoperating machinery for cutting and pressing meat.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of thestaging area and raw product storage, ensuring a safe and efficient workenvironment.
• Remove empty boxes and trash from the work arearegularly to prevent hazards and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and report anyincidents or accidents immediately to the department manager.
• Collaborate effectively with team members toensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
• Operate industrial equipment only afterreceiving certification from the Safety Manager, following all safetyguidelines and procedures.
• Perform packing duties efficiently, utilizingprevious packing experience to ensure accurate and secure packaging ofproducts.
• Comfortably lift cases weighing up to 80 pounds,with the ability to work as part of a team for heavier items.
• Possess knowledge and experience in operatingmachinery for cutting and pressing meat (preferred but not required).
• Stand for extended periods and work in a coldenvironment consistently.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a cold and wetenvironment and the ability to adapt to such conditions.
• Packing experience, with a demonstratedunderstanding of effective packing techniques.
• Possession of Slip Resistant Work Boots forsafety compliance.
• Comfortable lifting cases up to 80 pounds, withexperience in team lifting for heavier items.
• No body jewelry, long nails, fake eyelashes, orloose hair extensions are allowed during work hours.
• High level of attention to detail and adherenceto cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience:
• Operating machinery for cutting and pressingmeat is a plus.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
