Job Description
  • Develop and execute business development strategy across Aerospace & Defense accounts
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities with defense primes, OEMs, and system integrators
  • Build and maintain seniorlevel customer relationships
  • Act as a "hunter" - generating new programs and expanding footprint within existing accounts
  • Partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to support customerspecific requirements
  • Support product customization and deployment for A&D applications

A successful US BDM - Aerospace & Defense should have:
  • 5-7 years of relevant business development or commercial experience
  • Background selling into Aerospace & Defense or adjacent technical markets
  • Strong businessoriented mindset with technical credibility
  • Comfortable with travel and a national customer footprint
  • A proven track record in business development, particularly in the aerospace and defense sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the industrial and manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Familiarity with market analysis and strategic planning.
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
