Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following established guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste materials.
  • Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department objectives.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Previous experience in a related cleaning or environmental services role is preferred.
  • Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.
Work Schedule: Evening shift from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with possible rotating weekends and holidays.
This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
