Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following established guidelines.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste materials.
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department objectives.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous experience in a related cleaning or environmental services role is preferred.
- Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.
