Your Key Responsibilities
- Employ advanced radiographic and CT techniques to obtain high-resolution diagnostic images for medical evaluation
- Team up with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure precise diagnoses
- Accurately position patients and fine-tune equipment to achieve optimal imaging results
- Maintain vigilance regarding radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff
- Keep detailed records that include imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the imaging journey
- Promote a safe, streamlined, and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program is essential
- ARRT certification (in CT and/or Radiography) is required
- Current BLS certification or ability to achieve it within 90 days of hiring
- Solid understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and diverse healthcare teams
- Ability to flourish in a fast-paced setting and adjust to evolving needs
- Detail-oriented approach paired with a strong sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging technologies
