This is a premier opportunity for attorneys who want to advise cutting-edge employers-particularly early- and mid-stage startups-on fast-moving workplace issues while also handling sophisticated litigation matters. About the Role The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both employment litigation and day-to-day counseling, including:
Wage & hour
Terminations and reductions in force
Leaves of absence & accommodations
Workplace investigations
Worker classification
Drafting and reviewing:
Offer letters
Handbooks
Compensation plans
Employment agreements
Separation agreements
Candidates must have:
Robust litigation skills (single-plaintiff and complex matters)
A business-minded, problem-solving approach
Deep familiarity with California employment law (state and local)
Top academic credentials
Active CA Bar membership
About the Practice The firm's Employment Group advises employers across the full spectrum of workplace issues and defends them in complex disputes involving:
Discrimination, harassment & retaliation
Wrongful termination
Wage-hour claims
Trade secrets / non-compete / unfair competition
Workplace privacy
Executive employment agreements
Policies, practices & personnel systems
The team works with a broad mix of clients-including high-growth startups and established innovators-providing both high-level strategic guidance and hands-on litigation support. Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $260,000 - $390,000
Discretionary performance bonus
