Mechanical Integrity Engineer

Qualifications
BS Engineering degree with 5+ years' experience as Fixed Equipment / Mechanical Integrity Engineer working in a PSM regulated chemical plant. Solid technical knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance, mechanical integrity, and asset care. Extensive experience with NDT, Six Sigma, PCMS programs. Ability to work now and in the future without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive inspection plans and schedules in accordance with industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., API 510, API 570, API 653, ASME B31.3). Conduct NDT inspection to include penetrant testing (PT), visual testing (VT), positive metal identification (PMI), and ultrasonic thickness (UT) measurements on related structures, components, and welds to ensure their integrity. Maintain inspection and test reports (electronic and hard copy formats, as applicable) for mechanical integrity of process piping, vessels, and tanks. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of mechanical equipment, including pressure vessels, piping systems, storage tanks, heat exchangers, pumps, and valves, to identify potential defects, corrosion, and degradation.
